Currently Furry Friends Flowers is donating to…
No Kill Colorado!
Since 2014, their mission is to make Colorado the safest state for homeless pets and they invited Furry Friends Flowers to be part of an amazing month-long event called Home for the Holidays! Last year they saved 180 cats and dogs (three years or older or with special needs) by placing them in their Forever Homes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They want to break the 200 mark this year! So, Furry Friends Flowers will be donating an amount of our proceeds to their “Home for the Holidays” Fundraiser.
In addition, we will be gifting a large gift basket for their Auction, in Arvada, Colorado at Someplace Else Brewery from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., on the 14th of December.
This holiday season, No Kill Colorado (NKC) is thrilled to launch our annual "Home for the Holidays" campaign, uniting compassionate Coloradans in our mission to save hundreds of homeless pets between Thanksgiving and Christmas! In partnership with SARA (Shelter and Rescue Alliance) Colorado, dedicated PACFA-licensed rescues and shelters across the state, giving our beloved dogs, cats, and ferrets the chance they deserve to find loving homes!
Last year, we reached an incredible lifesaving success, helping over 150 pets find homes. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher, aiming for 200 adoptions—and with your support, we could even reach 300!
To kick things off, we’re starting with a $5,000 donation from our general fund. But to truly make this holiday miracle happen, we need your support. Each time one of these special pets—those aged 3 years and older or with unique medical or behavioral needs—finds a home, NKC will donate $50 to the shelter or rescue that made it happen. These incredible pets often wait longer to be adopted, but they have so much love to give, and with your help, they can be Home for the Holidays.
